Fendi colorblock Satchel with Flap Details and Turn-Lock Closure, c. 1960
Ostrich (or imitation ostrich) leather; crocodile-embossed patent leather, kidskin lining. Made and found in Rome, Italy.
Simply spectacular, mid-century Fendi handbag in ostrich leather and contrast, patent faux-crocodile trim. The perfect fusion of so many trends: colorblocking, exotic leathers, ladylike satchels -- and from the ever-covetable Fendi! Guaranteed authentic and with original dustbag. Looks as if this had a shoulder strap at one point; this is no longer with the bag. Condition: excellent, some wear/darkening at corners of bag. Slight cracking. Interior is pristine. Sizing: 14.5" wide by 10.5" high by 5" deep, 5" strap drop.
